What are your picks?

Mine. Just try and listen to this in the dark, alone. Just try it.

Love that song, but I find it, the whole mood, more depressing than creepy.

I use to hate this damn song.

Another theme I use to loose sleep over.

Wasn't Anton Lavey the creator of a sect of Satanism? He also made a couple movies on the side if I remember correctly.

One of my favorite songs, not because of the history that goes along with it, but becasue of the song itself.

Billie Holiday- Gloomy Sunday

He was the founder of the Church of Satan in the 1960s, and wrote The Satanic Bible and a few other related books.

It's actually pretty serene in the beginning, but it gets scarier as it goes on.

That album is a collection news reports and witness/victim statements from various crimes, in spoken word form.

There are no "songs" on the album.

If we're electing recordings of people talking then we may as well call it a day with the Jonestown suicide tape.

The other day I listened to a bit of Buyer's Market and I'm still unsure if it's 2DEEP4ME or if Peter Sotos is just trying too hard.

This song has a bit of a story behind it.

You see, it's a stock bit of music used in many games to scare the shit out of people. And it does it's job well.

The reason it freaks me out has a few roots, one of them is that I'm terribly afraid of being alone, which is a feeling that song puts in me. Another reason is the first time I looked it up on Youtube, Google Chrome crashed when I tried to click on a video of it, you can imagine just how much that scared me.

Funeral doom metal can get pretty evil. This song right here sounds like something Satan would listen to while running errands.

fuckin' a, man.

This might sound messed up, but it's kind of comically ironic that a man who's last name is Balance died by falling.

I liked that Coil song, but I can't seem to get into Horse Rotorvator.

And how did he die?

I think Coil is hit and miss. And he died by falling down stairs.

I'm surprised Yurgen didn't say it, but Penderecki's early works are fucking terrifying. For example.
