The 80's generations?

Gen X was everyone born in the mid to late 70's inside punk culture. They saw the greedy years of the 80's and decided not to buy in.
Gen Y was the first generation to grow up with the internet. Gen Y doesn't have a lot of motivation because machines do all the work and there's a lot of awesome free media.
There is no Gen Z.
Millenials are everyone who was a teen or young adult after the advent of social media. They actively self educate, but are isolated by their technology, although they are very adept with it.
As a cusp Gen X/ early Gen Y guy, I'm a weird place because I still have the rough and tumble aspects of a Gen Xer with the education of a Gen Y. I've been pretty actively involved in Millenial culture as well, but more of as a spectator than a participant.
Millenials are fucking weird. They are soft and touchy feely, and they don't know how to handle pressure. They're smart as fuck though, and they make crazy weird art.
