Ever wanted to say wildly misleading statements to a group of friends?
Bored of doing math homework?
If you have a TI-84 graphing calculator you could play Skyrim on it. Not actual Skyrim of course, but a smaller version designed to run on graphing calculators. It's not quite complete yet, but it has three races, quests and combat. Read more about it here.

So that you can say "My calculator can run Skyrim", of course.

So that you have something to do during that two hour math exam that you have no chance in hell of passing.

True, the game has no similarity to Skyrim at all. I didn't expect it to actually be Skyrim obviously, but they could have just named that game anything else since it is just a generic western RPG. Lame sauce.

The same could be said about the real Skyrim.

I know there was a picture going around the internet a few months back that showed someone playing Pokemon on a calculator.

I wouldn't say it's generic. It was one of the first RPG's ever. The generic ones are the games trying to copy it. It's just.... shallow.

Skyrim was released in 2011. It isn't one of the first RPGs ever made.
The first RPG ever made was DND.

People have been doing that for years.
I can run Pokemon Yellow on my shitty old nokia, it's nothing new.

I meant the Elder Scrolls series in general.

And Shade was still right. The Elder Scrolls is NOT the earliest RPG by any standards of the term. It's an early one, sure. But not the first/earliest.
But on to the actual topic here, it's neat for a calculator game. Not exactly a fan of Skyrim (fucking character animations are static as all hell) but this would be fun to have. Too bad I have a Casio.

Compared to Fallout 3 and new vegas the character animations in Skyrim are about as fluid and lifelike as the ones in Uncharted 3.

ITT: A text-based calculator game that happens to be called Skyrim.
Seriously, I was expecting some animated graphics.
