Heh it's always good to see another pixel artist, when designing environments with elements such as Building constructs,
It's always best to think outside the box instead of a typical flat view... Usually a better effect is from a 3/4 view, that gives it a true dynamic visual effect, That way you can judge where the light is coming from, in addition to contrast setting.
You should also add some backgrounds to your liking of your choice depending where this is.
Well First lets blow this up a little so I can see it better.
There we go.
Well first off this is kind of dull a plain house. You should come up with a little more of a personality of the house, Usually made up from the personalities of the people who live in the house.
From there add some variance to the bricks. Some ill be lighter some will be darker
Same with the shingles on the roof.
Work with a bigger scale to get more space to work with.
last the ground isn't pixel art. It is just brushed on there. Try actually adding different values pixels to get the desired effect..
Their is more I could say, but I'm kind of in a rush. Sorry.
You know looking at this again this is a bungalow with a high roof?
Otherwise you forgot to add the upstairs with windows.
Thank you for your feedback :D I will work as hard as I can to improve :3
