been coming to this site for 13 years now, found it back in 99 and joined in 2000, this has been one of the longest web sites I have seen on the internet since the Dial up Days, so what was the first thing that brought you to New Grounds, for me it was the Assassins Page and Parodies Paradise

It was Kirbopher and specifically this. I don't think it was the first NG submission I saw, but it was certainly something that got me hooked. Before this, the website I went to for flash cartoons was AnimationArcade (formerly Flashplayer.com) and that website hasn't updated in over three years.

I signed up as hereforrock in 2007, in order to write a review on a song that I liked.

I had played Territory War on a different website; I loved the music, and discovered that it could be found on a website called Newgrounds. Speeding Rampage by Gorebastard was the song, and it was not only the first thing that brought me to Newgrounds, it was the first mp3 file I ever downloaded from the internet. I didn't think I would actually be able to get the song and be able to listen to it on my (parent's) computer whenever I wanted; I was very excited when I found that I actually HAD the song there on the computer, free to listen to!

I used to go on FlashPlayer.com and Stickpage. I think that Knox or Gene Goldstein linked their Newgrounds page in one of their animations on FP, so I clicked it, and arrived at this wonderful site.

I then hated it, and refused to visit it again until like a year later in 2006 when I saw that Gerkinman was on here. Then I started watching flashes and playing games, and found it was much better than shitty flashplayer. A few years later I was visiting the forums.

I don't watch flashes on here anymore, only from a select few people, but I go on the forums quite often even though everybody hates me/doesn't know who I am.

In 2007, just after V-tech, there was a Madness flash with a guy shooting up a school. Being 11 at the time, I didn't give a shit about any sort of controversy and I was in that Madness kiddie phase most of us go through, so I used this site to watch shit tons of Madness flash and played hentai games.

Fun stuff, I guess. I joined months later in August 2007.
