Ok, looks like there is going to be a new Ice Age.
I am personally saddened by this...

Just milking a franchise for every penny they can get out of it before it falls over and dies.

And they just made a new Madagascar.

Keep being unoriginal, gaise. Keep milking that cash cow.

To be honest, I never really liked any of the previous ones. It just didn't hit me the way funny movies do. Even so, I'm surprised they're still dragging the series out. I mean, if it makes kids laugh, then that's cool and all, but I'm amazed how they keep the series moving.

Disney and Pixar seem to have been doing this a lot lately.

I've started to realize it was overrated later on in lie, but I still enjoyed the films. After seeing a commercial for the 4th one, I'm not even planning to look at it.

It died after the first one, but as long as there are five year olds there will be new Ice Age movies.

I liked the first film when I was really young but never watched the next two in the series.

Anyway its a fact that when it comes to films if something is popular then there is a massive chance it will get milked. Even Toy Story might not be safe (I think Tom Hanks said he was willing or that they were thinking about it. Shudder.)

Huh, at first I was thinking that you meant there was literally going to be a new ice age. Don't know why.

Anyhow, companies milk series. They all do. It's not new. They're a business, not just artists. Who cares?

Yeah, but I give DreamWorks a bit of a pass. "How to Train Your Dragon" was amazing and "Rise of the Guardians" is sure to be awesome.

Ice Age isn't pixar.

No, but Cars 2, Toy Story 3, and the coming soon Monsters Inc. 2 all are.

Brave does look really good. I think the hatred of calling it a "How to Train Your Dragon ripoff" is uncalled for. Yes Toy Story 3 was really great, but Cars 2 and Monsters Inc. 2 was just not needed. Cars 2 was nothing more than a cash in. How are they gonna make Monsters Inc. 2? I don't know.

I heard that they are going to make a prequel of it, and it's going to be called "Monsters University", I think.

They've improved the quality of that franchise, if you even know how to use a proper movie review site.
And OP is jelly that they rake in tons of money by attracting stupid kids that cry to their parents to drag them to Ice Age.
