I'm having trouble w/ a submission

Ok, I have a .mov file that I was trying to upload recently into the portal. It's not a flash animation, it's a video I made with my SD-H100 camera. I guess the issue is that I can't upload it unless it's in .swf format, so I downloaded a .swf file converter that i found through google and changed it over (or tried to anyway. i think.) to a .swf file. However, I clicked 'Upload' again, the whole 'my computer' window popped up so i can select the file i wanted to upload, but it wasn't in there. So I'm assuming this is because i still didn't change the file into the format that was needed.
This is about the best I can explain it. Any help in getting my .mov file from where it's at into the portal would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Is it stop motion then? because if it's just a movie you should head over to YouTube.

yeah, it's a video, but i was going to try to make it a point to make newgrounds submissions exclusively without the use of youtube. i don't want to use youtube because they're far more strict on their copyright policy (i'm just using a song in the video that's by Discovery, and youtube will rip it right off, whereas all i have to do here is give credit to the artist)..
