Don't Escape
I'm a werewolf and it's a full moon. I have to find a way to prevent myself from escaping.

Did you play Ragnarok Online? Do you like that game?
3.51 / 5.00 13,558 ViewsWelp, another time for signs-ups for a team collab... which means that:
1. You will be working with another audio artist on a piece (still deciding on 30 sec to min parts) to contribute towards the collab.
2. You will be receiving message about the status of the collab (I think ChimeraNoise is taking over for the mixing, so most of your stuff will be contributed to him) in order to gain insight about how the collab is coming along.
3. Stuff.
So we have an audio collab discussion thread which you can find here (page 5+ from where I start talking), so that'll get you updated towards the ideas we've been having so far on the collab.
Post there if you have any other ideas that you can contribute. Also, I think the max amount of people we'll work with is 40, so there should be a good amount of opporitunity to get involved with this collab.
Lastly, I'm going to make this whole process about 3 months, so I'm going to end the deadline at July 11 (at 12:00am NG time) and the final date of submission for the song at September 11 (12am NG time), offering plenty of time for anyone who needs time to have the time they require to finish their work with their teammates as well.
If you have any questions about it, either PM me or post in the discussion thread.

I'd love to give her a shot :3
So let me get this straight...
There's gonna be 40 people, each person is teamed up with a partner, making a 1 minute part of one colossal song in a certain key?
I love a challenge, count me in! As per the guidelines, I use FL Studio
Also, I vote D# :P

It more than likely will turn out like this one did, but i'm not sure
An Audio Collab featuring many different artist here on NG!
Also if we're voting on key, we should do "A triple flat"
What about genre and style?
Just carrying over the votes from the other thread and adding the ones here:
D#: 2
G#: 2
G: 1
is A triple flat supposed mean F# ?
Also, since I guess we should know what programs we are using for the purposes of pairing, I use ModPlug.

ModPlug here also, I can be flexible with this DAW thingy because I can switch between trackers such as Milky and Impulse.

It's probably going to be non-specific on the genre/style (if you listen to our last collab, it's highly present), but we're still discussing over the details. There will be plenty of time to map out everything.

I vote for D#.
Also, I use FL studio...
I use renoise and milkytracker mainly (I have Fl, famitracker and modplug installed, but rarely use them)
Also, I vote for F minor.

So we have so far:
D#: 4
F Minor: 1
G: 1
G#: 2
Looks like D# is winning lol.
Joining.
Also, don't know much about the keys to use, so anything is fine by me.
Looks promising. Let's do this !
I'm in, obviously, I use FL Studio and I was the first person to vote D#!
Just a quick note to everyone though, when you do eventually get around to sending your parts to me for the final mix I would really appreciate it if everything that is sent is in a lossless format (.wav, .flac, etc.). I only want our hard work to be crushed into .mp3 when it's about to be uploaded. :b

Ummm... well I guess it is a good thing each of our parts are relatively small.
My raw .wav outputs are usually around 1MB a second.
I don't think this will be a problem, will it?

It won't be a problem at all (for you, for chimera it's going to be 600 mb of download, not a big deal (is it??))
check out the tread, some propositions are on the table.

(Posting in both threads so people understand)
Alright, I need to go back a bit before people get confused as to what we're doing...
This is a Team collab, meaning that you'll be working with someone on a part to contribute to the collab. We've already contributed towards a singular collab (the last one we did), and so we're looking to do something different this time...
What this means is:
1. You will NOT be working on alone on your part (This is the reason why the deadline is so far away and the fundamental idea behind this version of the collab)
2. You will need to find a partner... Don't care if they're a part of newgrounds or not, just find someone who can help you with your part.
Because right now it seems like people are thinking that each part is seperated into sections so that everyone can make
their own part and collectivize it together, but that's not what we're aiming for with this collab.
Also, right now, we're just throwing out ideas until everyone comes on board (either hitting the July 11th mark, or the 40 people that join up by then. If only a relative few join, we can go solo, but otherwise I want to see people teaming up together, and if your having trouble finding someone, we can start a separate thread for that.
Well if thats the case, PM me if you want to partner up with me. Again, you can look on my profile for the music

As specified in the message I sent you, I'm all up for this one, and will probably team up with Step, once I get around to speaking to him.

I'm okay with teaming up with anyone.
Though working together would be a pain if my teammate lives in a different timezone than me...

I sent my 30 sec part as a mp3...which got even more compressed in the final format. :/

Nope, not a big deal.
All I'll have to do is download everyone's parts into a folder and import them to FL, then when I put it all together and it's uploaded. I'll just delete the folder.
Just so you all know, I can work with anyone from any time zone if working with each other live is what you want to do, because I don't sleep much and all I'm doing for the next few months is different music things.
