Good games without guns

Hey guys.

I'm looking for some games that have a really good story and a deemphasis on shooting people, so no FPS.

Some of my favorite games are:

Portal 2
Shadow of the Colossus
Journey
Flower
L.A. Noire
Heavy Rain
Okami

I'm really looking forward to the upcoming Ni No Kuni

That should give a good picture of what kind of gamer I am, any suggestions?

If you like the Zelda series and enjoy the graphics (cel-shade) of Okami, then you could try Wind Waker. Other games, I could recommend, if you want to try something a bit different, is Black and White 1 or 2 (if you have a decent PC).

Could also go for Fable. Really fun. Sequels are not-so-fun.

I love the game NBA 2k12, but story really. L.A. Noire you can shit people.

Well...I mean Vanquish has you shooting robots. It is a shooter, but you get knee boosters. Knee. Boosters.
Fast paced action as well.

Well the core mechanics of the game come down to shooting people. To continue the game you have to kill everyone in your path, then you get the story bits. You really don't get an option to avoid a fight or talk them down. Although, to be fair The Last of Us isn't even out, so I can't really judge it. It would be cool to have an option especially in a game like that.

Well I have played a few awesome games without guns, like Super Mario Galaxy, or Sonic And The Secret Rings, Sonic Colours and so on. And many more stuff that are cool and don't have guns! =)

Maximo, Crash Bandicoot 2, the first two oddworld games (actually they have guns, but only used by the enemy), any fantasy RPGs (namely FFIX, elder scrolls), any Zelda game. Simply having no guns is a daft way to classify a game though, since outside of FPSs they handle differently in most games.

Also, even though Far Cry 2 is an FPS bristling with guns, I felt like the story was good and it actually turned me off from the FPS genre for a while.

it seriously did

Prince of Persia is definitely worth your time if you like platformers.
I would also recommend The Ball if you like mystery and intrigue with your puzzle.
