I haven't seen it yet, but I don't trust any review that I read on Newgrounds, ever.

Plus, I tend to leave my opinions until I actually see or experience said subject.

The whole point of it was to confuse the shit out of us so we have to go watch the next 3 films he puts out.

Well, according to RottenTomatoes and the Internet Movie Database, it was better than "Alien3", "Alien Ressurrection", "Alien Vs. Predator", and "Alien Vs. Predator: Requiem". So there's FOUR movies that are hated more you have to complain about. This one wasn't unenjoyable like the other ones. The only one of them I saw was AVP and it wasn't terrible at least, I'd give it two stars. This was a three star movie in my eyes.

I'm a filmmaking major and I thought it was way overrated. It seemed much more about special effects than plot and character development (the plot had so many logical problems I couldn't even keep count, and none of the characters were likable except for Noomi Rapaces'. The black guy was kind of likable too, but I cringed during scene with him pining for sex with that white woman - that scene served no purpose whatsoever except to further perpetuate a stereotype). I actually like Ridley Scott, but Prometheus absolutely paled in comparison to the first two Alien films. I was really looking forward to it, but it left me very disappointed.

I really liked it until halfay through, when shit started to hit the fan, bouth deaths and the plot felt too rushed and overall badly paced after they got out of the storm.

Event Horizon and Sunshine are still better sci fi horror.

I enjoyed it quite a bit.
Though things moved really fast I still liked how they played out.

Loved it.

My mom just saw it and said it was horrible, possibly the worst movie she ever saw in her life. Then again, she hates violent movies. She just said it made no sense how a woman who just had major surgery could be walking around like that. It's a heck of a good thing she didn't see "Alien Vs. Predator". That movie ended with a freaking DEAD BODY giving birth. It's sad she hated it so much when there are so many people who liked it.

Why the FUCK was the Surgical Suite in the Pail White girl's room ( I can't remember her name, but how can you blame me) programmed to work only on MEN?!?!?!?!?!?! I literally shot Pepsi out of my mouth when I heard the computer say that! That makes no fucking sense!

It had plotholes, I will admit that, that's what you get when your writer is Damon Lindelof. I also disliked how there was no build up to pivotal moments of the story, aka zombified Fifield coming out of nowhere. But overall it was an alright movie and a testament to Ridley scott's older movies. 3.5/5 is about what I'd give it.
