Ain't it a bitch when two people post at exactly the same time in this thread?
This sounds very nice. This is another artist that I've never heard of, but I like it a lot. It sounds very post rockish, which is a good thing. This is something I'd listen to while smoking a blunt. 9/10.
still, though, Jarboe - Alchemic
This thread seems to be turning toward the chill side, now. Okay, it's mostly me, but still.

I like it. Although I feel all of this slower music is going to make me fall asleep xD
And its weird. This keeps going through different phases all the time. Like at one point you'd find a bunch of heavy stuff, then it will go lighter, then it'll have like punk stuff, then some rap, then some other things and so on and so forth.

Well, we humans have a tendency towards following one another and forming a pattern, even when it comes to foot traffic.
If you look at it from the right vantage point, you might find that we're not so different from insects (BTW. Koyaanisqatsi is a fantastic visual experience).
Pelican - An Inch Above Sand
10/10 Pelican has never made a mediocre album. Also, the beginning of this video is pretty much what I picture any time I listen to post rock. It's always a blue sky with moving clouds, for some reason. Although, sometimes I picture a vast, calm sea...and the blue sky and moving clouds above it. I dunno what it is about post rock.
So, maybe I'll change things up just a tad.

I almost always enjoy female-fronted bands. I like her voice, and I like the style of the song. There's not really anything to dislike about this song that I can hear. 9/10

I felt bad, so here's a song I love that you guys will probably hate on.

Buckethead is obviously very talented, but I've always found there to be a kind of pat artlessness to his shit, like he's more of a guitar technician than a musical artist. I dunno, maybe that's just me. 6/10
At 12/30/12 11:43 PM, Dr-Worm wrote: Rocket From the Tombs - "Ain't It Fun"
I liked that quite a lot. Though the vocals kinda annoyed me at points because they got a bit too distorted. Like he was too close to the mic while he was shouting and it sounded a tad off. I dont know.....You can just go ahead and ignore this little part I'm typing now.
I'll give it a 9/10
Radar Men From The Moon - Intergalactic Dada & Space Trombones

Wow, long intro (maybe a little too long for me), but fuckin sick jam. I love this kind of stuff. The kind of thing I would get high to if I did any drugs. Love that spacey feel in music too. 9/10

didnt even need to listen to it (but i did anyways). Automatic 10/10 for me. Partly for nostalgia, but I also love Smashing Pumpkins.

Muse - New Born
I dont know why but I've never been able to get into Muse. I mean Super Massive Black Hole, Uprising, and Knights Of Cydonia are okay. But other than that I can't say I'm the biggest fan of them....though I'll still give it a 8/10 since I liked the song.

Electric Wizard - Doom-Mantia
^^Sounds like a mix of Charlie/Craig Reid from The Proclaimers and Michael Stipe from R.E.M
I'm not usually a huge fan of Electric Wizard, but that was pretty good. 7/10

I like it... it's very red. Texas dusty like a desert. It's pretty umm.. nihilistic though.
Here is my song. It doesn't start until 0:22. Give it a chance, it is good.

Did I get you to start listening to Starfucker or was it just you were the only one who listened to them when I was listening to them? Maybe you don't even know what I'm talking about.
Anyway, I don't really like the new song much. I'd much rather listen to the older stuff.
