I'm an aspiring animator that hopefully you'll be hearing a lot about in the future! :D
But right now, I'm still learning the inner workings of Flash and I thought it'd help if I could download some high quality animations to see how the animator creates them and the steps they take, etc. So is there a way to download Flash videos directly into Flash or such thing as an open source animation?
Thanks for all your help.
Sothink swf decompiler, theres a 30 free day trial.
Also it helps alot.

In my opinion this really isn't the right way to learn. It's slow and inefficient! I watched SamGreenMedia2's Flash tutorials on youtube last night and pumped out my first flash animation in the same night. I feel like I'm now completely competent with the software. I hadn't touched Flash before then.
When you say 'inner-workings', perhaps you mean ActionScript? - but codes won't help you animate well!
Good luck.

If you want to download a flash just google a program for your browser (if you use firefox or piece of shit internet explorer, there's ones like http://www.downthemall.net/ for firefox and http://tucows.com/preview/505431 for IE, plus it's called pimpfish. The fuck?
But you can't see the scripts and how it was made and such from just downloading the SWF. You gotta get the original .fla.
