So EA just officially confirmed that they will be showing Dead Space 3 at this year's E3 event.
There will be a live-stream by IGN at 1pm PDT on the 4th June o stay tuned for that.
Not many details seem to be known yet, however it is confirmed to be a co-op game where a buddy can drop in and out to help you out. The co-op caracter is rumoured to be someone called John Carver who was revealed in this graphic novel short last week.
What are people most looking forward to? Things that they should leave out of the game this time? Things they should include?

One reason I hate E3 is that so many games come out I can't decide which should I buy.
Anyway,I have a question:Do I have to have played the other games to get this one?I don't want to be totally lost when I start playing.

Same here I haven't even played a dead space game outside of the dead space 2 demo. I've been behind on the 360 for like 2 years.

I'd definitely recommend getting DS 1 and 2 (preferrably the 2nd one on the PS3 due to getting Extraction for free). Plus they're both pretty cheap. DS 1 is about 7 dollars and DS 2 is about 16 dollars.

The story isn't complicated and is probably summarised at the start so no. Dead Space 1 and 2 are both phenomenal games though and easily in the top 10 of this generation, and considering their prices these days you'd be a fool to miss out. I doubt DS3 will be even half as good as the original.

I dunno, I'm pretty excited for that. I always got that the suit was crazy heavy but crouching and diving should be a cool addition
