4.09 / 5.00 12,195 ViewsOkay so, I've had this short fight scene going on in my head for a couple of days now, and I wanted to draw it up. It's only a couple of pages long, and seemed easy, but it wasn't quite so.
This is the concept stage, I suppose. I'd really appreciate whatever help/advice can be given, especially if it means drawing all over the image to show me how to fix it :P I mostly need angle/proportion help, not so much detail as that will go in later.
Thanks in advancypoos guys :)
Well, the first screen seem to take up too much space , just create a close up where the hero catches the dude running up on him in his peripherysight.
Then which in my opinion is the most important scene where the bad guy gets gutted by that spear - couse after that he's pretty mych done. I think this should take up the biggest area of the page. Other panels should be less, they are less important as the bad guy is pretty much dead. Just make smaller panels eg scenes of the hero mutilating him instead.

I like it! Thank you very muchly for the advice.
I think this is going to be page two, the reason I had the first panel was to illustrate that he had been facing another enemy, but if I put that panel (minus the bad guy running) at the end of the previous page and then follow your idea it should look sweet. Cheers :)
Still open to advice if anyone else spots things I could improve upon!
