I'm guessing our human eyes are only capable of seeing th colours that we see now. Unless aliens or some new space shit shows up, I doubt we'll be able to see new ones.

Vision.
Implying that you've discovered a spectrum of colors which are separate from the normal ones, to create "Chocomilk-o-vision". Yet here you are saying that you'd name the COLOR "Chocomilk-o-vision".
Not to be blunt but that is a terrible name for a color.

How colors came to be themselves is still something I found really fucking peculiar. But I don't really question it. Either way, I don't think it's possible to come up with a new color. What our eyes see is likely what they will always see and the large array colors we have now are vivid enough to keep our minds occupied.

It's a tough question that we all think about at least once, and I just don't think it's possible to think of another one. But there are actually many more colors on Earth than the ones we see. Some animals can actually see more colors than we can. But unless we surgically attach those animal eyes to our heads, or make special glasses, good luck seeing them.

However, I do sometimes wonder if an object that was a color we've never seen before and it was discovered, how would we see it? Would we see this color?

Heavy thinking. Heavy thinking.

Color is defined as the way light reflects off of something. I don't think it would be possible to make a new color because we haven't figured out new ways for light to work. I suppose in some far corner of the Universe, there might be some kind of concentration of light that allows it to work in ways it can't on Earth and maybe there would in fact be a new color. I think you probably could make a new color, but it would have to be a variant of some other color, like sky blue.

Plenty of people who have had near death experiences, or lucid psychedelic trips have described seeing colours that they have never seen before. Considering how limited our perception of life is on earth when compared to the rest of the universe it is definitely possible that there are colours we haven't seen yet.
