Hey everyone, I want to make a demo reel, but I have no idea how to start, any pointers? I would really appreciate it! :)

Well I'm not an expert, but you're gonna need a good quality microphone and maybe some extras like a noise filter. Furthermore, you need a recording/editing program like Audicity, or a DAW. And you need talent, obviously.

3: Record
4: Upload

Or SMRU for short.

Just record yourself showing off your various voice talents. Do a really good grandpa impression? Record it. Do a really good redneck impression? Record it.
Have a real sexy natural voice? Screw everything else, record that... People love people with sexy voices.

I'm probably digging my own grave here, but look around to see what ppl need in their animations, do your impression of that, and voila. I'm getting a lot of work that way.
