Basically, I'm right about done with this game.
All I need is some fine, synthy, tunes.
Basically, the game is a roguelike, it's presented in pixel style, but also has a modern retro vibe.
All in all, it's a simple yet in depth dungeoneering adventure, and, in the vain of Nethack, has a deeper story worth talking about, though not shoved into your face.
What I was thinking for this game was some jazzy synth tracks, funky 90's game throwbacks, when music was on the absurd side, but catchy.
Or you could do whatever.
To whoever that accepts, I'm going to give a percentage split of the profits, at 5% per minute or something on those lines, I would love for one person to do all the songs, taking it that they're mostly loops, and I would like to keep the style consistent.
This is a huge project, I've put tons of effort, several months, and it's almost done, traditionally I've been listening to "Pepper" by the Butthole Surfers during the entire course of developement, and I put in "The Nethack Song" which was a parody of said Pepper as a constant looping background, and it fit perfectly, though it got annoying at some point.
As always, I will provide a link to the near-done game if you're interested.
If you want to know what exactly I'll be asking, I'll need:
- A Dungeon theme
- A Strange, surreal, soothing outdoors theme
- A incredibly trippy, somewhat "xen"-ish (from Half Life) type environment.
- A battle theme
- Boss battle theme
- Final Boss(es) theme
- Main/menu theme
Each track should be basically 30'ish seconds, it's not much to ask for, I believe, but don't feel restrained about it.
If anyone's interested, reply here or send me a PM.
The game's called "Second Wind," by the way.
