I'd like to know what is the best advanced or intermediate Rubik's Cube solving method according to people who use these methods.
If anybody can compare various methods together that would also be pretty cool. Thanks :)

I know the beginner's method and I can now solve the cube in less then 2 minutes, but I know there are advanced methods, which are most likely all listed on Wikipedia. But I was just wondering if there was a method that stood out as the best from all these methods.

You mean the algorithms?
As far as I remember, You solve one side first, which will be your base. Then you solve the middle layer, and top layer using the specific pattern for that square.
I didn't know there was more than one algorithm.......

Yes there are. The method you have explainned here is the beginner's method. But there are various Speedcubing methods.
From what I know, the Fridrich method is the most used and the world record holder uses that method. It might be the best, but I felt I could ask Newgrounders for their opinions on the matter.

This. I used to use this method. Very organize and quick to solve the problems.

Turn the top of the cube 45 degrees and pull out any top center piece. Take out all the pieces and rearrange them in the right places.
You're winner

Use a flathead screwdriver to pry the individual "cubes" off, and put them back on in the right arrangement

This system is arguably the best. It's what the world record guy used to get 5.66 seconds.
I think it's the easiest method other than the Beginner's method.
I use the Fridrich method for the first two layers, then the beginner's method for the last layer. Also it's best to do the cross on the white side. Unless you're one of those crazy colour-neutral people who can recognize pieces instantly.
I average about 1:30 and I'm not very good at looking ahead or fingertricks, or using optimal moves. And my cube is shit. So it's quite a good method.

I use the F2L method. It's semi-advanced. I had a 21 second average when I was really into the cube a couple years back.
