2005 was 7 years ago. That's so weird to me, because 2005 doesn't seem that far in the past.

Anyway, we'll see if I'm still here in 2019. I'll probably stick around for the time capsule too. Turns out the one I posted in in 2010 never got locked though.

Notice how few forum users are on-line at the moment.

Sometimes my post count comes alive and beats me up for not signing up in '06 and having in in the billions.

I'll never abandon Newgrounds. I may take extended breaks from the forums but I am always around watching videos and supporting the site. I was here in the beginning, I'm going on 10 years of being a formal user, and I'll be here if/when the site closes it's doors.

Internet forums and chatrooms in general are becoming less and less of a 'thing' as the years go by due to the building dominance of social networking websites. Why talk to total strangers on the internet when you can just log onto Twitter or Facebook to share opinions and discourse with people you know at any time of the day?
