I'm making a game and have just finished the basic coding.
Variables will be minipulated, etc. such as gravity.
Hows it coming along?
It's coming along fine.
Art wise : Update everything, get an artist.
Gameplay wise : There is no real challenge, there needs to be something that makes the player have to move fast. At the moment I can just move really slowly in order to get the coins. You've gotta make it so I GOTTA GO FAST then it becomes a challenge.
It's a start and like stated earlier: consider redoing all the art. There's even simple design stuff you can do without needing an artist. My advice is to always try something crazy, test what you can get away with to make something more interesting to look at or just noticeable (that just goes for the layouts and art, the coding/gaming theory need to be thought out more to ensure fun is being had with the game).
