God I hope The Sixers win a championship this year but I wonder if they can even get passed The Aging Celtics.

I was going to post one once the Finals starts.

Oh well, you better manage the thread well.

I hope the 76ers beats the Celtics, after that lose to the Heats.

Well I want the best team to win and beat the HEAT.
But I honestly think OKC is going to win.

They think Bosh will probably be back some time during the third round. I was scared for Miami for a bit until Danny Granger got injured. Thank God for that. But I feel like the Pacers are much better than the Celtics/76ers. Celtics shouldn't even be doing so well, they are having such a good playoff run, but those old guys are gonna get tired. Miami's big 3 is better than Boston's. Sure, it's more of a big 4 now, but recently players like Udonis Haslem and Mario Chalmers are playing amazingly, and besides CB, LeBron and D-Wade are easily enough to take on Pierce, Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo (even though he's playing outstandingly). I feel like Miami will definitely make it to the finals and should have Bosh back by then.

Pacers Have been doing well this year and made it to the 2nd round ever since 2005
I think they are doing an amazing job they have a chance of beating the heat.
Miami has a chance too but I think they are going to blow it like last year.
Im also shocked about the Celtics. But they don't have a 50-50 chance on the heat.
I agree with you all the way.

All of those players on Miami, especially LeBron, deserve a championship ring. Sure LeBron and Chris Bosh are dicks, but they are also great players and deserve a ring. I feel sorry for the great players like Steve Nash who have come so close to winning but have never won, and he's going to retire soon. It's just not fair. Miami deserves this one.

Well, that's why Lebron left Cleveland for, because it was pretty clear that he couldn't carry the Cavaliers anymore to a championship, {like he was going to win one there anyways with all that sub-par talent around him.} so it only makes sense for him to join up with 2 other All-stars somewhere else. Considering that most of the teams that would normally give the Heat trouble have been eliminated already, there is no excuse for them not to win the title this year, OKC is the only team that could keep up with them.

In your dreams.

Maybe if the Heat loses either D-Wade or LeBron, the 76ers can win the Eastern Conference.

LA KINGS are in trouble. I think its obvious that the East-coast has had the better teams overall with the exception of The Flyers getting destroyed by The Devils. LA KINGS set so many records blowing away the West-coast teams. Now, is that because LA KINGS are unstoppable or because the WEST has weaker hockey teams? I guess our answers will be found out during the Stanley Cup series.

76ers are going to pull the biggest upset off in NBA history when they win the NBA championship game.

Make the excuses, you're a sorry NBA fan if you believe that. 76ers dominated The Bulls in 2010 with all their best players out there. And in 2011/2012 we dominated bulls when Rose was in the game. Stop making excuses for once in your life and just accept the fact that special ed people like you underrated the 76ers, just admit it. Stop making excuses in your life.

The 76ers won 2 out of 3 meetings in 2010 which is a small sample size. The Lakers did the same against the Celtics in 2008 and we all know how that worked out.

Also in this season, the Bulls won 2 out of 3 against the 76ers.

While injuries may be an excuse, it's also a legitimate excuse as well. If you honestly believe that the 76ers would have won against the healthy Chicago Bulls, you're a fucking idiot.

Every team in the playoffs are dealing with injuries to some degree. If a team only relies on one or two players than that is a sorry ass team. The Heat have that problem, where almost everyone relies on Lebron and Wade to score points. If The Heat make it to the finals, they will not win it. It's too much pressure an abuse on the body to rely on two players. And I have no idea what The Pacers are doing, this was there series to win. There team was playing like a team where they didn't rely on only certain players to win(Sixers style) and they had success with it but now they look damn near finished. If The Heat win the championship game they deserve to only give the rings to Lebron and Wade. I don't know if Bosh is coming back or not. Bosh should get one to since he helped get The Heat where they're at. Also, keep a close eye out on The Officials in these games. When Mavericks/Heat played each other in 2006 it was one of the worst officiated series ever. Phantom fouls won The Heat a championship. Mavericks should have two championship wins right now.

Or when you lose two players, making it tougher to win.

Also Bosh is expected to return in the third round. Whether he can be effective is the real question.

And I have no idea what The Pacers are doing, this was there series to win. There team was playing like a team where they didn't rely on only certain players to win(Sixers style) and they had success with it but now they look damn near finished. To be fair, the Pacers lost Granger and that can be a huge blow. Another thing was that one of the Pacer's players practically taunted the Heats by making choking gesture which may have led to becoming a motivational factor right there. If the Pacers don't win Game 6, that's it for them.

With the ways things are going, the winner of this year's championship will probably be the team from the West. If it's the case, I hope it's the Thunders.

Nothing against the Spurs but I find them boring.

Maybe if I'm a Spurs fan, I wouldn't mind.

The only time I find them fun to watch was 2005.

Yeah, beating the Utah Jazz, who are really godawful, and the Clippers don't exactly make them unstoppable. Spurs are way past their prime and it seems like they rarely play defense anymore, which we've seen before when they got thrashed by the 8 seeded Grizzlies a year ago. Experience is not as important as everyone seems to think, especially since they haven't won a title since '07, and really haven't been close since, and yet it seems like everyone on ESPN is going with the Spurs all of the sudden, despite the fact that the Thunder are the more explosive and more talented team.

Thunder in 6 games, though I wouldn't be surprised if it does go 7.

Thunder in 6 games, though I wouldn't be surprised if it does go 7.

The mavericks without Tyson Chandler are not exactly great opponents either, and the Lakers are quite the dysfunctional group.

The thunder have more overall talent, without a doubt. but thats it.

They have a solid bench but the Spurs is the best in the league. they have 11 players that could be starters on other teams.

The Spurs are the master of controlling the pace of the game. and the Thunder really don't have a half-court offense.

The Thunder remind me of the 2005 Suns- both are great fast paced offensive teams. The Suns had better ball movement and this Thunder team has better defense...needless to say.

yeah, the Spurs aren't exactly the same team. but they are better offensively, and they have the same consistent, crisp flow and control of the game like they did back in 2002-2008, but wasn't apparent in losses to the Mavs, Suns, and Grizzlies.

the Thunder showed some flaws in the first two games against the Mavs and in games 2, 3, 4 against the Lakers. they have a great closer in Durant to bail them out. However, the Spurs are the master of getting stops and they won't fail like the Thunder's previous opponents. Poppovich is also a great coach.

It would be nice to see the Thunder advance, but I have the Spurs in 5.

What were the biggest rigged games in playoff history in the NBA?

Is it the Sacramento Kings vs Lakers series? And what other ones were bad? Do you think Miami vs Mavericks NBA championship game in 2011 and 2006 both were poorly called? I did, I seen a lot of Phantom fouls in those games. Also, in The Bulls game vs The Heat last year Lebron was doing the worst flopping ever where guys weren't even close to him and the Officials still called fouls.

I remember Derek Rose being a good 2 feet away from Lebron and Lebron throws his head back and the officials call a foul.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIkBjuVGbb4

Do you guys think The Heat will do this kind of flopping **** to get passed the winner of Celtics/76ers? And how come The Heat don't show any class and blatantly try to cheat to win like that? I've watched the entire Celtics/76ers series and felt that the officials have done a pretty good job(yes, there human and will make some mistakes) but I didn't feel like anything was a game changer unlike The Bulls/The Heat series where a lot of miss calls decided who went on.
