Seth Mc Farlane's (creator of Family Guy) voice acts in his first theatrical movieTED
It is what it is, just another movie that looks like dumb fun. With that lets see how many users hope it bombs.
It might be funny.
I don't hope it bombs, but I do have an uneasy feeling for Seth that it might.
I'll go see it with my friends, most likely.
You know what?
I'll watch it - I think I'll enjoy it. I like how the fact that everyone accepts the talking bear as a normal occurrence. Plus I like Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis as actors.
I won't see it in theaters, mind you, but I would see it on Netflix or something.
It looks like an alright movie. But they've changed it. The first preview I saw for it was before American Reunion (shut up. It was good) and the bear's voice was pure Peter. Now they seem to have dialed it back to half. Someone in power must have said "come on!" as loud as the audience.
I feel bad for wanting someone to fail but this is something that should fail. Seth MacFarlane needs some motivation to improve his quality because right now he just doesn't seem to give a shit. He's the comedy writing equivalent of Nick Cage.

I was just as surprised as you are.
