Have a big spending spree on crap you don't need, and if there's any left, save it for "important" stuff and the rest for important stuff.

It's a foolproof plan, and almost nobody needs to do the second bit!

Yo dawg, don't try to make me out to be a dick.

I honestly only saw her like 2 or 3 times a year and didn't have too much of an emotional attachment. She was a nice lady and all and I'm not happy that she died, but I don't feel too phased. Besides, she even said before that she didn't feel like living in this world anymore.

I know I'll feel bad at the funeral anyway.

Maybe you should see if you could afford to get a brain that causes normal emotions that everyone experiences. I mean seriously, you don't deserve the money if you don't feel too bad she is dead. If you think that the money makes up for the death you are very cruel.

Walk the streets where you live and give $10 to every person you see engaging in a random act of kindness or go get some fast food and pay for the person behind you a few times.

Use it in a way that would not only brighten your day, but brighten someone else's day as well.

You could even take that ten grand and find a local business that you support, and tell them that you're willing to invest X amount of money for X% return.

I would do good things for people though (:
It sounds like you're too young to worry about bills or a family, so it wouldn't hurt you.

If you're nearing the end of high school, screw helping people. Invest that shit hardcore and make bank for your college education.

Yeah. That'll cover about a half-year of college for me. Put that shit in the bank. Or somewhere else where you can grow it. Resist the urge to spend.

So you're saying that you felt absolutely grief stricken whenever one of your grandparents died? That you weeped uncontrollably at the thought of your dead grandparent(s)?

Give me a fucking break, it's depressing whenever a family member dies, but you know what? I'm a really unemotional person anyway, and I'm suprised my grandmother's death has affected me at all.

Every idiot with half a brain and their mother knows that being unable to be sad is a common emotiofnal response to someone dying for various reasons. Its just natural, and doesnt mean they dont care. Usually the angst comes later.

i would probably ask older people to keep $10,000 in a bank because it is the safest option.

you will hardly earn any interest from your deposit if you put the cash in a bank. since you are still young, you can take more risk. answer: bonds and stocks.

Same thoughts here... however, that was very thoughtful of her.

The good side of me says, "Stick it in an account and save it for when you need it."

The youth side of me says, "Hey, go on a fucking trip to Europe. And enjoy yourself."

In the end though, I'm truly sorry for your loss.

By stating the latter; you've already said otherwise. This response of yours was a defence to protect your immoral POV for death. Why else would you challenge the other POV and then challenge whteher or not their OWN POV was genuine? Unless you were validating your own immoral stance - tsk. tsk.

Luis - creating kids since 1990.

I don't give a shit about his grandmother. The point is:

This guy's grandmother died. Instead of mourning quietly, he makes a thread on NG about it.

Here is how it goes:

"My grandmother died!"

*Posts picture of douchefag dancing in money with a big grin*

I don't care about no morals, but that kid deserves a good curbstomp.

If I were you, I would put it right in the bank so it gains some interest.

I don't trust the stock market anymore
