Is it possible for that person's sponsors to revoke his/her citizenship and send him back to his/her country? Or that sponsor has no such power?

I don't really believe that is possible. I don't have nay facts to back this opinion though, but I don't think that a citizenship can be revoked.

I think that once you have citizenship, it CANNOT be taken away. You are a citizen of a country and they really can't take it away, just like a natural born citizen.
Where's the pickle?
Can you revoke a persons ability to have internet?

Move to North Korea?
Yeah your citizenship can be revoked and you can become nationless. The next country you go into then has to give you citizenship by international law I think.
I don't think a citizenship can be revoked by a sponsor.
If "A Man Without a Country" is to be trusted though, citizenship can be revoked on charges of treason.

Yes.
Also, once you are a citizen you are no longer sponsored, so the person who sponsored you cannot send you back.
I don't see how sponsorship in any way could legally affect anyone's citizenship in any well-known area, especially the USA or Canada.
