Newgrounds The Forsaken City Update

Studio Firelight have posted an update video on the Newgrounds: The Forsaken City Kickstarter page!

The project has just crossed the $6k mark. If 685 people commit to the $35 Blu-ray, they'll make their goal. Be one of those people!

Eiomaru has also made an update post here on NG and has included a Paypal donation link for people who can't use a credit card on Kickstarter.

Wow! When they made their update just the other day they were still at $3.3k, what a big leap!

It took a month of you pestering, but I finally got around to a donation. I only went for the dvd, not Blue-Ray package though. Here's hoping everything comes together and it gets funded!
Does Newgrounds have plans to give a final push if they are like 2k short the last day or anything like that? I don't want to put unfair expectations or anything on Newgrounds though!

Whooops! To my credit, the name was pulled from the file name, which had the bad spelling. Thanks for pointing it out though; FIXED!

We considered different venues before deciding on kickStarter. We want you guys to know that we want to make this thing right. The first way we could help show you guys that we are being held accountable is by shooting for this all or nothing scheme.

tom, I gotta be honest.

this project looks great. And the people involved truly have their hearts in a passionate creative place, most of all it is a tribute to the very place so many wonderful creative ideas are originated/explored. It would be a shame if the project didn't exhaust every avenue it could in order to be realized.

there are plenty of folks with NG roots who have some "klout" out there. And a small "nod" from them could draw a healthy dose of attention with potential bucks behind it.

I'm certainly saying to prod and nag, but perhaps a polite nudge in the direction of the project.

I guess there's really no way to say it without sounding like, "GO TELL FAMOUS NEWGROUND PEOPLE TO LIKE THIS!" But support is support, especially for the folks who have supported us...
