Giant signatures

So i was browsing some other forums several hours ago, and the amount of content that other forums allow people to put in their sigs is just ridiculous. I mean, some people have so many pictures, sentences, gifs, even videos occasionally, that most of the time their sig is way too distracting from reading what they actually posted, especially if its just a few words. If you ask me, forums everywhere should limit the amount of content they allow in user's sigs down to something around what Newgrounds allows, a picture and a small amount of text, so that people dont get so distracted.
Not all forums that I browsed were like this, a few actually didnt even allow users to have sigs, but enough so that I decided it merited a thread about it.
So thank you Tom&crew for limiting the amount of content we're allowed in our sigs so it doesnt distract from our actual posts

Yeah I hate forums like that. I don't even visit any forums other than this one, but if I google something and it brings me to a forum, I end up watching videos that are in sigs thinking it's part of their post, then realize that a cat making stupid noises actually doesn't have anything to do with hooking a gameboy emulator up to my gamecube emulator.

Yeah I agree, large signatures piss me off too. Forums with decent management usually have restrictions on what you can put in your signature though.

Every teenybopper and their friend would have trouble resisting the temptation of standing out when given the chance, and I am positive the impressively rude community here would stoop that low if given the opportunity, themselves.

Given the very creative original nature of this website, it would be difficult to imagine a large portion people who do not view themselves as at least partially gritty, self-important, or otherwise specially entitled roaming around here.

Really, the forums would be exploding with oversized images and videos; doodads and stupid nick-knacks littering the screen top to bottom in an attempt to distinguish one's personality from the rest of the internet.
