Video Player Fixes

Mike has made some fixes to the video player this week so as of today, let me know if you experience any problems with it. Examples include a video not starting or seeing a black screen while only hearing audio.

Hey Tom, whenever I download a song, the title and stuff is all muffed up. It makes it look sloppy when I put it on my mp3 player. Idk why it does this. A is the when I download a song now, B is back in tha day.

Unfortunately not, but I'm glad to see I'm not the only one having that problem. By the way, it caused my video driver to crash. Luckily Windows could restore it and continue without having to restart the whole system.

Using Safari on a new iPad, all those videos work fine except the Starbarians one. The audio works, but the video is all green scramblydoo like in that other guy's screenshot.

I'm still not getting any problems. I just saw Starbarians without a problem. I'm on Chrome 18 with Windows 7 x64.

Still not working for me. I can get Starbarians, Valentines Day, APPLE.MOV and a few others to play, but the majority of them just sit on the loading screen forever, with the loading bar full right from the word go. It's like any videos that were uploaded after a certain point won't work for me. It's possible I did something to my computer which stopped the videos from working, but I've cleared my cache and it can still watch Starbarians and any of the earlier video uploads. If there was a way I could see a list of all the MP4 uploads in chronological order I could find exactly what day the uploads stopped working for me.

It takes less time to load than it did before, but it's still at least 10 minutes before I can watch anything without stop/start. :(

I've just watched Bounty + Hunter and found that I still have to refresh the page to get the player to launch. Firefox 12 is what I'm running here in the office.

I have a slow internet connection and it takes half an hour on a average for a video player designed video to load.
Can you atleast put up an indication so I know whether it is an ordinary flash movie or a fancy video (a 100 Mb video that runs for hardly a minute) BEFORE i click on it ?

It's sad to know that flash movies are dying...
