Because I still get it from my 1st entry. Daily. I don't know what I'm doing right, but reading hatemail is one of the funnest ways to start your morning. :P
I wonder how many hatemails do you get when you've made "Fucking Kids".

Ho boy. If only someday I'd get the strength to try and count all the death/arrest/beat-up threats of that one. Also it was the quickest flash I've ever seen to be removed from the front page. Under 2 hours. :D

No particular reason. I just don't think about being american that much. Not to say I'm not grateful that I live in somewhere so blessed.

I'm honestly starting to get concerned on how much I'll actually be able to finish. I've been lazy as hell so far and have been procrastinating again. time to kick myself to actually start doing things!
Here's the title screen, as a preview.

Same. I've gotten some stuff done but I'm also procrastinating like shit and I won't be able to work on it at all this weekend. Luckily Memorial Day will give back some lost time but I'm gonna feel terrible not working on this for 2 days.
Looks nice BTW.

Same. I've just barely started doing backgrounds and scratch work today. It's a good thing I learned about that ABC shot thing, otherwise I'd probably be completely out of the competition.
By the way, does anyone know of some voice actors that'd be willing to work for free, or at least knows how I should split the ad revenue for their pay? I kind of want to ask Jazza or Tomamoto, since they're pretty good about working with novice animators, but I'm not sure they'd be willing to work for what will probably amount to $15.

For the revenue split, think about the amount of work they put into it in comparison to the amount of work you put into it, and split accordingly. Also add more for the fact that the voice acting is probably an extremely important part of the success of it.
I feel kinda bad about how much my voice actors make tbh. I give them a revenue split, but that only amounts to a few cents if not frontpaged or a few dollars if it is.
I suppose I should try making something of quality :P
Anyway, I was going to suggest you make a frontpage post, but you already did.

Haha yep, I've yet to even start the Fla. ...I'll be doing that today though.
On another note, I just had an eye test today and confirmed what i'd suspected for quite a while now. I'm colour blind. No wonder I keep getting the enemy confused with my team on battlefield 3...

I usually only do frame by frame. I don't like tweening and it seems like more of a hassle (for most things at least) to make whatever is being tweened look decent.

I've yet to also. I've been busy since the novice round began, so I hope I'm pretty efficient from here on out. I'd really not like a reprise of an unfinished entry. I suppose it is comforting to see that I'm not the only one starting a week late as well!

They didn't go into detail about it with me since there's nothing you can do about it anyway but I think I'm deuteranopic, this explains it;
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deuteranopia#Dichromacy
I can't see some greens and sometime struggle seeing, or confuse, some reds and greens. I decided to finally check it out, since I got concerned about it, because I've been finding it really hard to work out colours for my animations and backgrounds and stuff. Sometimes it all looks really muddy to me and can't discern what colour i'm looking at.

That's pretty interesting. Sucks though. I hope it doesn't interfere with your animations, you're open round toon was the tops.
