Who said she'd give him permission to cut off her hands? All he'd have to do would be to trick her and then cut them off. He'd just have to say "Hey Diana, give me a High Ten" and when she raised her hands to slap his, he'd be able to slice her hands off below the bracelets so she couldn't still use them, and then slice her head off.

No, i think that body just dies. Something to do with Wolverine's brain that causes him to regenerate. I can't remember. i havent read X men comics in quite a while.
