If you don't know the difference between past and passed you should probably go back to elementary school or lay off the weed..

It's pretty stable, its just not as successful right now. I mean, you don't have to worry about buying college tuition, and then all of a sudden, the college goes bankrupt and your tuition is worth nothing.
The job market is a little tougher though, however, that's a reason to go to college. The difference between a college student working at Denny's and a college student working in their career choice is all up to pre-planning, and evaluating what you need. If you want to be a chemical engineer, chemical engineering degrees are probably for you. But if all you want is a certificate that says 4-years, then that chemical engineering degree isn't worth much to you. College is a means to an end.
Tuition costs are rising, but there are tons of financial programs out there. You can even go to cheaper colleges for a couple years, then transfer over to a bigger college.
Ultimately, if you don't want to go to college, then don't, but you need to have a plan. What you want to do in life is more important that what college you need to get into. Personally, I want to be a pilot in the military, so college is a must for me. However, if I wanted to secure a nice manager position at an office, that may not exactly be required. If you have no idea what-so-ever, it would probably be worth your time to invest some time in college, maybe get an associates degree, so when you do find out what you need to do, the education is there.

College Degrees have benefits if you know what you are doing.
I'm very fortunate to have my college tuition being paid for by my family, so if they are willing to pay for your college, then I say go for it!

But of course that doesn't have to mean that they're unhappy with their choices or that their college years were a waste of time. I think it's always good for your personal development and if it doesn't work out then at least you tried. Furthermore, I think for many people it is the most fun time of their lives.
If you're really not motivated at all like OP though I wouldn't advice going to college either. It's probably better to work for a few years and then see what you really want.

Nope, I actually wanna do something with my life. Also, I'm typing this from my college as we speak.
I intend to go get at least a Master's with computer programming or something computer related because the job market for that is only going to grow and it'll get me a job with my dad, who works for a fairly prestigious local company. I don't know how college classes work, but i'd like to fit in some law classes with that because I've recently gotten interested in the idea of joining the police force, but whether or not that's just a phase I don't know.
I figure as long as you don't get your degree in something like art where a college degree doesn't really make a difference, you won't have too much trouble finding a job. I say art degrees don't really make a difference because if I worked for Disney or something and was looking for animators, i'd care how well the people i'm interviewing draw and animate rather than just hiring people for their degrees.
You look nice today.

1. You can't argue it.
2. I'm speaking the relative truth. And in this situation, I asked it in question.
1. I'm right.
2. II subjugated the spirit of YOUR question.
1. I'm wrong for not being half-wrong for being right about not being wrong about not being wrong about being wrong for being half-right about being not half-wrong! Now how right am I?!
2. I subjugated your subjugation with my bigger and more better subjugation. : )
The Answer!
I'm wrong for not being half-wrong for being right about not being wrong about not being wrong about being wrong for being half-right about not being half-wrong! Now how right am I?!
Breakdown!
Half-wrong (I'm wrong for not being half-wrong means I am actually half-wrong[continued])
Half-Right & Half-Wrong (I was half-wrong about being right about not being wrong. To be half-wrong about not being wrong means I am half right and half wrong!] [continued]
Half-Right ( The 2nd ''about being wrong'' negates the first. Allowing me to be righter than wrong.) [continued]
Half-Right & Half-Wrong (Then it circles back to being half right and half wrong. Because I was then half right about being wrong.) [continued]
Half-Wrong (I'm never fully right or fully wrong without collective data, so my half-right and half-wrong becomes a half wrong which is the polar opposite of what happened in the one that says ''Half-Right''. [continued]
Right [Then the mind fucker comes into play! Remember how I said there is no absolute in my favor? There is one way to create the illusion of being fully right though. To create two halved absolutes into one negative absolute. Which created the opposite absolute - Right.]
Conclusion: 100% Right (I am never fully wrong because there is no way for you to create the same illusion with two halved positive absolutes.)

Yes, I'm arguing that these buildings called schools & college are laughable catalysts for knowledge, experiences and awareness. All they do is turn you into a systematical bitch.

In the unlikely event that I can successfully make a career as a musician, fuck college. However, that probably won't happen, so I'll go. I don't really have any particular interests, but I have a 3.4 and did well on the PSAT, so we'll see where I go from there I guess.
You have almost zero chance of getting any decent job without a college degree.

Or the other way around. You have zero chance to get a job if you have no experience; with or without a degree.
From what I heard, people who have gone to college tend to make more money in jobs. I recall this Penn and Teller episode where they mentioned a lot of great businessmen who didn't go to college, but I think at this point, it doesn't matter as much because the economy has gotten a lot worse since then, and people are only looking for the most qualified people. I hold a Master's Degree and I still only managed to get some jobs because my dad knew someone.
