Heya Newgrounders!
There are a lot of pretty awesome and dedicated artists on here, and that's why I always find my best artists on NG! Now I'm looking for a pixel artist to do art for my next game!
My next game is largely inspired by Portal. The mechanic, while different, gives much of the same feel as the portal mechanic. I decided it would be a good idea to embrace this similarity in the art style and setting.
Of course, I will be paying the artist! So if you are a pixel artist and you are interested in doing art for a cool game, feel free to send me a PM with a link to your portfolio. I'll send you a link to the alpha version of the game, and a list of assets I will need. You then reply with the price you want to be paid to do those assets.
I'll be choosing an artist on Monday, May 14th!
Some key points:
- I will want this art done pretty quickly (within a few weeks), so if you are a procrastinator then please don't apply.
- I will be paying the artist half the amount negotiated up front, and half upon completion. If that does not work for you, please don't apply.
- You will be signing a contract so that neither of us can screw each other over.
-I will need to see examples of pixel art AND spritesheets in your portfolio, and of original characters. Yes, you need to be able to animate. If you can't do original pixel art and spritesheet animations, please don't apply.
- I will not be doing revenue splits for this game, only flat rate payments.

Remember, May 14th is the day I will be choosing an artist, so the last day to apply will be May 12th.
