Can't be added as a Beta in project

Can't be added as a Beta in project May. 3rd, 2012 @ 10:00 AM Reply

This has happened with a project before (In the project manager system) but when people add me as a beta-tester to a project, and I click "Approve" the project disappears and then I never see it in my dashboard. Its like I might as well be clicking deny. Anyone have a clue as to why this is happening? Let me know

Its visible in your project manager dashboard? Because it is not visible in mine. Others have told me it works for them

After I press the approve button, it still says on my main page that I am a tester for 0 projects. I get the requests okay, but it doesn't confirm them on my project manager page. That's why it might be a glitch because it seems like no matter what I hit the deny button. They've sent me the same request over and over and it is the same thing. Maybe I should try denying it and see if that works.

Its as simple as it sounds, I'm afraid I can't think of any other details to go into :/

Well the info you provided is fine enough.

So you are saying when you go to http://www.newgrounds.com/projects, you dont see any project you have been accepted to.

I see the projects I've done in the past, however I do not see this project in particular. I don't believe I am being co-authored so I don't think it would show up there, but it would say I am a tester for at least 1 project.


Tell them to direct link you to the project and see if you are under contributors.

The direct links works I believe, I see my face there. I guess the part I'm confused on is why I'm not able to access it though there like everyone else can

Thanks for the help so far though. Worst case scenario I'll have to use dump to view projects, I was just excited to try out this new feature of the redesign

Yes, you are probably a focus tester. It doesn't show up if you are a focus tester, I believe.
