Yes and no. I value games that try something new even if they're not perfect 10 games. It doesn't mean they're bad games. Strictly talking about the single player game COD has relied on the same setpiece to setpiece formula since COD 2. They could make a new one like that in their sleep and it would probably be polished and fun and there's nothing wrong with that.

They could also try something completely new and revolutionary that could potentially push the genre forward, but for whatever reason doesn't turn out as well as it could have. Doesn't mean it's bad or a failure. Just something that didn't get implemented perfectly because it's new territory. I'd rather have the game turn out that way.

Call Of Halo: Reach Ops looks like the worst Call of Duty game yet. But the others did set the bar horribly low for it.

Shut the fuck up, they run on the exact same game engine with a few different maps, different weapons, but the essence of the game is the exact same and has been since MW.

The trailer hasn't sold it to me yet. Black ops was one of my favourite Call of Duties game and i'm glad they've included the old characters like Woods and Masons son because they were some of my favourite characters. I'm not too big on the futuristic setting, it looks like Halo butt-fucked terminator but still, could go well.

Best thing about the game so far, Zombies have been confirmed and it's supposed to the biggest yet after 2 games. Looking forward to that! Probably won't pre-order it though, i'll wait till reviews come in.

You know what? I actually went back and dusted off Black Ops the other day, because some friends were playing it, and I actually had some fun. And if Black Ops 2 can try to do something different with the series, then maybe I'll give COD a second chance. But MW3 still has left me with some serious trust issues. I'll pick up BLOPS 2 from redbox for a few days, and give it a try. But ONE bit of funny business, and it's back to the Box.

I've always fancied futuristic war, not a huge fan of the CoD series but I gotta say, it does look neat.

The masses will continue to gobble the shit up, those with a brain stem will continue shunning the series due to it's lack of creativity, nothing new really.

Black Ops was the ONLY tolerable COD since COD: 2. I support Treyarch fully.

Inf.Ward don't care about online gameplay until after they received thousands of complaints on something; only then will they pretend to care and put out a placebo patch to shut noobs up for a while until someone discovers the next glitch that needs to be patched.
