Voice Recording Program? Apr. 29th, 2012 @ 03:44 PM Reply

Well..now that I've been told multiple times HOW to get a job on Newgrounds as a voice-actor..I need one more problem fixed. I've been told to record my voice on a script, just to show what I can do..and post it on a voice-actor signup page..but I don't know what programs to use to record my voice...I currently only have two programs on my computer that allow voice-recording: Dragon "Naturally Speaking", and "Hyper-cam 2". If I can just get a quick response on what program I could find online (Preferably under the price of fifty dollars) I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your help, and have a nice day. :3

Most people would probably recommend audacity. I know my friend, Krutches, uses it to record his voice, and any time I want to edit his clips, I use it.

It's free, which is the best price for anything, in the world, ever.

I appreciate the help, Narcissy. Thanks, and I'll try to use this first, before seeing if anything is better.

Audacity is the staple free program.

It's easy to use and once you figure out features like "Noise Removal" you will definitely see a great improvement in your own voice acting.

Thank you, Moderator. I'll most likely look into that, and I appreciate the comment.
