Trick question: Tox is too much of a bad ass to allow himself to be thrown off a cliff. He would instead counter the person's attempt to throw him, making them the one who is falling from the cliff, not Tox.

We need to know Tox's height in order to accurately gauge the exact time and place he will hit the ground (for example, someone 5'6" would hit the ground .0003 seconds later than someone of a height of 5'7"). The shorter they are, the longer it will take them to hit, even if they are going the same speed all the way down.

okay I am not sure at all but the time should be about 7.8 seconds and about 85 meters of horizontal displacement

either that or the time is 11.1 seconds and the horizontal displacement is somewhere closer to 121 meters. I didn't know if I had to include a factor of 1/2 in acceleration or not

Okay, okay. I was being a smartass. OP didn't type the equation correctly; it read as 9.8 meters TIMES seconds squared instead of meters PER second squared, which would render the units inconvertible and the equation unsolvable.
