Classic game revamps

What classic games from the '80s or '90s do you want to see revamped? I would like to see them officially revamp Q-Bert:

I'd love to see a new Contra game come out, though we all know it would just because another gritty FPS.

If they were able to keep the game close to its roots, it could be absolutely brilliant.

Scratch that. I just looked around and realized there were new games released for the series recently.

I should really look things up before posting stuff like this. I'm not nearly as involved with the gaming world as I like to think I am.

I'd like to see the original Pokemon games remade. I don't mean like FireRed and HeartGold where they modernized it; making the text more kiddy and giving the game the most current battle mechanics. I'd want a remake where all that gets improved is the graphics and music.

I think it would be cool if they brought Who Dares WIns back- I had the PC game as a kid. They should re-release I and II in one package and update them:

None developers need to come up with new shit instead of redoing re-releasing of same crap just cause they're out of ideas gaming industry is fucking becoming the movie industry few new ideas and everything else is just rehashed crap.

This was a game made for the Commodore 64.

I disagree- they should bring back some of the old Commodore 64 games. I have yet to find a decent C64 emulator.

(They had Commodore computers in the '80s and early '90s.)

Honestly, the one game I would love to see revamped (and will be!) is Leisure Suit Larry 1!

I'd love to see a remake of Banjo-Kazooie with more jiggies, moves, bigger worlds, MORE worlds and enemies and puzzles. It'd literally make my life to see something like that. They did consider it at one stage but decided it had no place with the current generation of games and made nuts and bolts instead. It's such a generic addition.
