How much would you sacrifice for your ideals?
Mana, the crystalized essence of magic, has become ingrained into the lives and economies throughout the world of Tia'draia. Man relies on it, the elven people worship it, and the enigmatic beast men who once feared it now have been enslaved by it. Holding the power to augment the body and bend primal and elemental forces to the userâEUTMs will, the races of the three continent of the world have mined it, refined it, and, as consequence, has become addicted to it.
However, mana is a finite resource, leaving the crystals worthless when the mana inside is exhausted. The Ackad Confederacy, an ailing democracy tearing itself apart by its own ideals united by the sole purpose of war, and the Kingdom of Ghath, a monarchy beset by revolution and enslaved by the Lodia Dominion and itâEUTMs divine Emperor, are in a bitter war for the remaining scraps of mana that scatter the continent of Theranir. With thousands of pounds of mana exhausted, millions of lives expended, and an entire race of elves dying and enslaved as symbols of wealth, the Great War of Mana shows no signs of stopping.
Romau, an amnesiac who was sentenced to death for killing an entire Confederate ambush party, is rescued by two members of the mercenary band âEUoeThe BrotherhoodâEU and recruited into their fold but not before exposing his terrifying power during the prison break: the ability to summon and utilize mana without crystals.
Upon his initiation, Romau is assigned to the tutelage of the fame-seeking leader of the band, a former Knight of Lodia named Chesmarn. However, the Confederacy is on the hunt for him, the Empire and the Dominion closing in on the rumors of the mysterious âEUoeOldrait KeldradâEU prophesized by the EmperorâEUTMs seer, and a cult called the Order of Xanartias demands their prophet for the resurrection of their pagan gods. The Gods are watching them. Where will the Wheel of Fate stop?

Funny, I'm working on a project for Ace as well. I'm still fleshing everything out, but I've got a nearly 30 page design document. When the time comes to get the ball rolling, I'm going to be looking for all positions. My intention is to turn it into a project I can monetize. I would definitely love to compare notes with you.

Where. What. Who. Why. Four paragraphs for a description of the game is pretty good, but you want to hit those four why's in each paragraph.
Where being where the game takes place. This should focus on specifics. If it's a single city, that. if a single nation, that. If it's the entire world, then isolate the most important elements.
What being the idea. This is where you would briefly go into mana. How society is being warped by its addictive influence.
Who is the character(s) that are most affected by the story, i.e. the PC(s).
Why is the event. What's going on, or what is going to happen.
That's all. When and how are reserved for you when planning your game as it only affects what the game looks like, and how it's played.
