With movement in an 8-direction, overhead, RPG style for the main character, I program walls as such...
Collision between [character] and [wall] = [Character > Movement > Stop]
However, when playing the game, rubbing up against the wall causes the character (and camera) to fidget like mad. So I assume this is not the way to go about programming walls for overhead movement. Please help.
I have asked for assistance on this before, but I think I phrased the problem in a way that gave me the wrong answers. So I am trying again.
