What happens to people who died before your God/Prophet was discovered to be a saviour?
(Not flame-baiting, just curious).
The preceding post was probably made when I was wasted. Only a fool would think of it as fact.

From a Christian perspective, those who unwillingly ignored the existence of God during their lifetime are exempt from being judged for not believing in him. You'd still have to give account of how you treated others, though.

The Bible says they rest in Abraham's busom.
And since the Bible is the basis for the christian religion and you clearly haven't read it....
Why are you telling people about a religion your don't know anything about?

Um, what they said, I guess.
Now I've got a question for the OP: What is a 'religionist'?
Need some music for a flash or game? Check it out. If none of this works send me a PM, I'm taking requests.

A strict follower of a religious philosophy.
What do they teach you in school nowadays?

Interpretation between denominations can vary wildly. From actually interpreting to physically changing it, you can't cover all beliefs. Perhaps his was simply different?
Why haven't you offed yourself yet?

Actually both are acceptable, although strictly a fundamentalist refers to someone who believes literally in the truth of a Holy Book, whereas a religionist is just a strictly religious person who also applies the religious teachings of their to every part of their life.

Honestly, I would think if they truly WERE the real god/goddess, then it wouldn't really matter whether we knew or not. That's really what religion is all about. Faith. No one knows if God is God, or if Allah is God, or Buddha is God, no one knows. That's where the faith comes in. If there really is a God, he/she will judge you accordingly when you die whether you know or worship him/her or not.
P.S. It's nice to see you making a quality thread Rapacity.

Abraham's bosom, you mean? That is synonymous to "Paradise". How does that contradict what I stated? It's interesting how you make the bold assumption that I know nothing of Christianity when you don't appear to know jackshit yourself.

*I'm pretty sure. Type properly if you're going to complain.
Anyway, you shouldn't go around praying to invisible men from books of fairy-tales, then you wouldn't need to complain.
And yes, religion is interesting, because it was the first human attempt to answer cosmological questions, biological questions, why we in the human race die of disease, why the stars come out, why the Sun gcones up every day, etcetera. So obviously it's an interesting question. Obsession would imply my interest in it is unwarranted, whereas if you were educated, you'd know it's perfectly rational to have a scholarly interest in why religion has so dominated human thought, and in spiritual questions.
I think you're just someone out of the back of the woods.

I think you're just someone who has to resort to ad hominem rather than addressing the fact that you refuse to keep all of your religious discussion in one thread.
Regardless of whether or not I pray to a grossly simplified fairy tale as you have described, I would complain simply because discussing religion gets boring fast unless you have a bone to pick about it. That, which I do not.
Also, I'm pretty sure you've called me a redneck in the past. I lol'd.

"Religion" =/= Christianity/Islam. The cycle of Samsara has gone on since before humans ever existed. Your "soul" has taken the form of mammoths, dinosaurs, eurypterids, demons, angels and even aliens, building and releasing karma since the dawn of time.

If you call stating the facts trolling.
There is ample evidence to prove that the Bible and other religious texts are myths, use Google and educate yourself before spouting off.
As for DickBuns, he is a known misogynistic douchebag, for which there is also evidence, therefore my commentary would be trolling if I referred to him positively.
Now how about you stop your character-assassinations and BAWWing and bother stating your opinion on the context of the thread, otherwise GTFO.

Why do love talking about race and religion? A religion topic is guaranteed atleast 2 pages no matter how ridiculously trollful it is. I made a race thread with poor grammar and punctuation, that I thought was pretty easy to tell I wasn't being serious, and I had someone even call me a bigot.
People on these forums take every chance to shun another forum and even their own. No one tries to fix it, someone decides to muster up a sense of humor and they get shunned, Every now and then there's an actual discuss-able topic. I know most likely someone's going to try and insult me somehow or tell me to leave. Note I'm only saying this because I like it here.
I just can't put my finger on what it is about this place...

I could say that you Americans talk like homos, eg. "OMG, dude, hay may'n, what up dawwwg"? That you probably have less teeth in your head than in your girlfriend's pussy, and also that your Government is run by supporters of slavery and religiotards.
But I think I'll just say that America is getting epically pwned throughout the World. Furthermore, its cities are getting destroyed by hipster Occupy protesters, and that America hasn't done a single thing to help anybody in its territories, ever.
Enjoy fucking your cousin and getting pwned by China you stupid hick.
