In my glory days online (1996-1999, I was 6-9 respectively), I found it mostly through forums or peer-to-peer networks, since video streaming was not very popular.

I think that having the option to block it is cool. But honestly, your child should only be allowed to use a family computer in an open area (why do 10 year olds need laptops?) Actually, after buying 2 laptops, desktop is better anyway (same thing, less money). But I digress.

I find it odd that people really care, I don't think it's that big of a deal. I'm sure a higher percentage of kids get their daily dose of watching people get their heads blown off in the most realistic way humans can render on a screen(which is getting pretty dang good) It's probably a much threat to todays youth.

Although I don't think is a huge deal either, I just don't see why porn is so bad, everyone gets into sex eventually. But people can live without seeing what's in games now-a-days
