Wow, 2012 is actually turning into the worst year ever for deaths.

Tom I gotta say I'm quite allergic to cats, but my condolences to Sherbert.

I have not heard Sherbert's name in many years, but as soon as I saw this, I knew what it was about. I am sorry for your loss, Tom. I am sure tears were shed and I know it is hard to lose a cat. :'(

Know how you feel Tom, had to say goodbye to my cat late last year, unfortunately we had to make the painful choice to put her down, at least Sherbert went at home on his terms.

Sherbert was a good mascot, and a good friend. He was one of us. He was a cat who loved taking naps, playing with his blue toy mouse, finishing a whole case of Octoberfest beer, and recieving love from his master Tom.

Goodnight, sweet prince.

It's pretty hard to lose a pet, even more when that pet was very close to you, I'm sorry about your loss Tom :(

Hope Sherbs goes to kitty heaven. Losing pets you've been together with for a while is very hard. My condolences, Tom.

I know how is lost a pet, Tom. I lost 4 cats, the last one i got i named him Tom and the another cat i have looks like Sherbet.

Sherbert had a genetic heart problem and a blood clot so he already lasted years longer than expected but it's still a shock to see him go. RIP Sherbert. :(

My Yorkshire Terrier, Minnie, is 15 now. She's got a tumor on her belly, arthritis, almost entirely deaf, nearing blindness, has only 3 teeth and to top it off is incredibly stupid.

I don't know how I'll be able to keep myself going when she eventually passes. Thoughts are with ya Tom.

There's your problem. You don't know what it feels like to lose a pet, therefore you are in no position to tell someone "Pbbhhtt... it's just a cat".

Do you think my dog is cool enough to hang out with Sherbert in pet heaven (assuming they let gays in)? He was raised with cats so he wasn't specist.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
