I am going to try my best to finish by the deadline but i dont really know if i will get to since this is longer then I thought :( And i dont want to animate it poorly when it has such a good story so if i submit it then i i do for this contest if i dont i will definately submit it on the side and get some people to help me on it :D

Yeah, I think if i go flat out I can probably just about get it done in time. It may look a bit rushed though but thats my fault for starting so late.
Also NATA, is thor going to be giving feedback again this year? He gave me some really helpful advice last year and i was hoping for some more of the same again this year.

Is it allowed to use a bit of previous animation for a reasonably insignificant part of this animation?
I want to use my tesseract from last year on a screen inside a time machine.

With great regent I will have to suspend production. I plan on finishing my entry in the future, but it will not be for NATA. This summer is the most important summer of my young life and I will not be able to give enough time to the contest for the summer period. I plan on finishing my flash, but it will not be entered into the contest.

having 1 week left? ya right.
Okay i've got 95% of character animation done... All the left are camera movments and backgrounds. From now till sunday im away at lakeside with college friends getting wasted and finding motivation... Is it lagging for any of you at all? My computer is very new, so I can't really tell if it needs further optimization. So far, I've actually gotten away with doing NO filters, which was actually pretty difficult.

Emrox, that looks great and I do have a pretty slow computer (no lag, though). I really like your shadow effect. Yours will be quite good if your other backgrounds look that nice.

I feel like I already know the answer to this but one of my characters mentions Nickelback, does this have to be changed? For the purpose of the competition I don't mind altering names but is there anything stopping us changing them back after the judging? I feel like the comedy suffers from using spoof names, that being said I probably wouldn't be parodying anything copyright in future entries (if I get through).
