Regarding harem anime character

Ever notice how in almost every harem anime series, the male lead is generally a pussy who thinks his life is hell because he has girls fighting over him?

Not to mention often times he did something that gets him mistaken for a pervert and gets beaten up by members of his unwanted harem.

From what I have seen, only two male leads I know that are in fact unrepentant perverts were Ataru and Makoto. Granted in Makoto's case, he would boink every girls he could find and dump them.

Ataru on the other hand was basically a proto-Makoto without the "boinking" around part and actually wanted a harem. Suck to be him.

That I don't really understand, and that's something that I've noticed with most harems too. My guess is that all of the "pussy" around said person makes him a pussy, or maybe he wasn't used to be in love with more than one girl, and he was simply overwhelmed. {Ataru and Makoto are exceptions.}

True, but to be fair, the bitch Sekai, {the one who set up a date with Makoto and Kotonoha} had just as much to do with Makoto being a pervert as did Makoto himself. From what I've seen, she was always trying to drive them apart because she was jealous of their relationship, almost like some crazy ex.

After she killed Makoto, she got in a fight with Kotonoha, and let's just say she got what she deserved.

Rosario + Vampire manga actually sets up Tsukune to be the strongest and most inhuman monster out of all of them. Unlike that horrible anime.

Yeah about the series, they really gone overboard with fan service for starters and the series itself derailed from the manga about a half-way through.

I like fan service as much as the next guy but it was ridiculous. Granted the manga has it's share but it doesn't show up every single time (and for some reason, most of them came from Kurumu).

The sequel's worse, the only thing connecting the anime and the manga source was Kokoa.

Only good thing about the anime is that theme song sung by Nana Mizuki.

Some other good mangas are Sekirei, in which the main character Minato may be weak, mostly because he's the only human, but makes up for it in being a tactical genius. And the Legend of Maian in which the main character is the descendant of a warrior god and thus being kickass by default. Though it takes a while for him to become badass, it happens after the first "season".

Notice that on the original game, whenever Kotonoha does something, her eyes were blank. Sekei's eyes was like that once when she stabbed Makoto (like in the anime). However whiel Sekai might have faked her pregnancy in the anime, in the game she was pregnant and freaked out after the stabbing while Makoto sat there taking to her as he starts bleeding to death for thirty minutes.

Then there's the time when Sekai pushed Kotonoha right in front of an oncoming train, her eyes weren't blank. She knew what she was doing the whole time!

Sure doesn't look good for her reputation.
