The graphics, the music, the game play was all so top notch to me when i was young and it still is too this day. i remember opening up my snes on Christmas and the first game my mom got me was Dkc i popped it in my snes and Wowwww. My uncle would come over and we would try and beat the game my mom and nama would sit behind us and cheer us on, to put it simply IT WAS AWESOME. Those were the days i miss em dearly.. Coming home from school on a friday night knowing what time it was...... PIZZA , CARTOONS, AND VIDEO GAMES!
Well that's my story on the greatest 90's game ever in my opinion

i don't have to say why because you would know why if you played it
This should be in the video game section...

I thought that game came out in 2005
cUNT DESTROYER
Donkey Kong Country 2 was better. Better music, graphics and gameplay. End of the story.
Also video games forums, etc.
Its in between chrono trigger and mario rpg they both had good story and graphics, I wish they still made rpgs like this with enhanced graphics.
Find me on gears pussies. Credit goes to Shaun for the dope sig.

I played Donkey Kong Country 2 and i really didn't like it. They weren't in the jungle the music wasent nearly as good and why was it called Donkey kong country 2 if you couldent even play as Donkey kong?
I'm gonna go against the grain here and say Streets of Sim City. you could drive around and blow shit up. And it had an awesome soundtrack

I was young so I played computer games.
Woahhhhh I totally remember that one of those pajama sam games was the first game i played on pc
For me its either Spyro the Dragon or Yoshi's Island. I think they are great games.

Donkey Kong country 3 was sort of overlooked in the series but it did bring some in some of the good expect from the first games though both Diddy and DK are kidnapped by K. Roolinstine ,There was only a small selection that I could not agree with in the terms of music ... Some of the Enemies looked pretty damned ugly too but maybe it was the intention because they looked pretty intimidating.
For me, it has to be Ocarina of Time, because my brothers and I used to play it all the time together. They would take turns, and I would cheer them on. The game took ages to beat, and we were all teenagers when we finally saw the credits roll. It will always have a special place in my heart.

So many memories with this game, too. I fucking loved the gameplay more than anything. I hope my brother still has it!

There's way too many awesome 90's video games to come up with just one imo.
In the early 90's, hands down, I gotta give it to Sonic 2. Though, most all the Sega genesis platforms were absolutely fantastic. I could see an argument being made for any of them.
In the late 90's, Gran Turismo was easily the greatest racing game at the time, so much so that it set a standerd for all racing games forever.
It's also a personal favorite.

90's games huh? That's hard...
Hmmmm.....
I'll pick Earthworm Jim. What a fun game. I remember the first time playing it too, my parents bought the earthworm jim toy when the game first came out in 94. I was 3, so at that time I was also playing the Mario Bros game. I then switched to Earthworm Jim, and loved the gameplay right away.
