Learn the shit out of word problems; know basic arithmetic, fractions and decimals; memorize basic geometry functions such as the properties of parallel lines, angles, triangles, squares and circles; learn rudimentary algebra, up to and including the FOIL technique; learn the shit out of word problems. If you know these things then you'll be just fine during the test. Well, the math part of the test.
I'm not absolutely sure, but I think the exam may have started to mandate basic Trigonometry into the exam as well, as of 2012, so you might want to go over SOH-CAH-TOA (SineOppositeHypotonuse-CosineAdjacentHypotonuse-TangentOppo siteAdjacent) and it's applications as well (basically, right triangle trigonometry). I don't expect it to delve too much further than that, on the GED, but it wasn't standard until after I left as a teacher so I wouldn't know.
This is coming from someone who taught GED mathematics, so I hope that helps.
Need some music for a flash or game? Check it out. If none of this works send me a PM, I'm taking requests.
