So TeamS2HD have finally made a alpha release for a Sonic 2 remake and i got to admit, it is beautifully done, they put so much effort into a fan made game it should look like that they are better than the Sega Team, you should Try it out!

Same for me. I loved the retro look of it.

Also, unrelated note: Did anyone else ever wonder where that island in the background is supposed to be? I had one dude told me it was the place that all of the shit in Sonic 3 happened...

I liked it. I like when games get updated like this, it just seems to look better. Dont get me wrong, i like the old pixelated versions too, but these just have a better feel to them
Wasnt much to go off of though, they only did the very first level...

It may look better or even improved from the original but it's not going to have that old unpolished charm that was there years ago in the sense of graphics design. The characters look a little to clean for me...
