I was very shocked and saddened by Edd's passing. We will be extremely missed for many years to come and will hopefully be a shining example to anyone who decides to get into animating. I think each of us have our own fond memories of their first time stumbling upon his work and getting addicted, always waiting for the next work to come out, and sadly we only have 2 left (as long as Matt and Tom are able to do it with all the burdens that it carries and if they do then they have a lot more strength than many others.)

This may have been suggested already before but I didn't see it, is there any chance we can place all of Edd's work into its own collection (and possibly other great animators that have passed as well)?

R.I.P Edd, and hopefully you have as much Coca Cola with Bacon that you will ever need where you are now.

I haven't had the chance to see any of his many flashes yet, but I'm well aware of his popularity around here.

My sincerest condolences.

There are way too many great ones to list in one post. Check out Edd's movies page for nearly a decade of animation.

It's depressing to think about all the great movies Edd had yet to bring us but also totally inspiring that he accomplished so much in 23 short years. In less than a decade Edd achieved more than most people could dream of achieving in their entire lives. He also did it while being totally humble and kind the entire time. Edd was a truly amazing human being and we're gonna miss him greatly.

In the past week we've lost Randy Solem, Luccas Bode and now Edd. None of us knows how much time we have left so if you have a dream of your own, don't keep waiting for the right moment; the moment is now.

I still remember when i first watched edd's video's i wanted to be like him an animator or atleast draw man i hate it edd was one of my 4 biggest hero's Him Ryan Dunn Jimmy The Rev Sullivan and Paul Gray and they all died. :C (I'm american so i dnt know many british people who are like that besides the Beatles but...)We'll i mean it was so sudden i thought edd was doing better what with him being more and more productive.I really thought he was going to go through this thing.Beat cancers ass but man it just...Sucks.I hope tom does well and let's Tord help and that they still countinue although i wouldn't blame them if eddsworld just stopped with edd's death.As tom said edd is dead but his world will spin long after his death.Which i agree.But anyway At least he left us with a joke he has 69 video's heh...It's kinda funny. :'l but again edd will be missed by many forgotten by none and will live on long after death.R.I.P. Edd 23 Years of pure awesome randomness and we only knew you since 2003... But we wish we knew u longer.

I didn't start following Edd until last year. Since hsi death, I've gone back to watch a number of his toons- he had a certain way with stories and animations. I really enjoyed the simplicity of his animation style and his stories were very human- meant to connect with everyone. Edd didn't die in vain, as his cartoons should inspire others to follow his lead.
