I think we all are a little, I mean people loved his work. I haven't met him, but he seemed like a great guy. Plus, it's very recent so the wounds are still fresh.
I knew he had cancer but I always thought he was going to be fine. He was one of the good animators, shit man.
I am deeply saddened by this. ALtho I did not know him personally, I enjoyed his cartoons and always hoped he would get better.
Your personality and cartoons will live on within us forever Edd. I just hope that wherever you are, you are no longer in any pain and are surrounded by all the Coca-Cola you could ever want.
R.I.P. my friend.

Honestly a huge inspiration to me when I was getting into animation...
God dammit, he'll be missed. R.I.P Edd
This is one of the saddest things to happen this month. He was a great animator, and his stuff always made me laugh.
3DS friend code NG member list. / I talk about game design using cartoons on youtube. / My Wii U username is Bobbybroccoli.
Even Tom posted about it on his Facebook page and re-tweeted it. There's no way it's a joke.
He went out strong, like he'd always been.
Damnit man, I always wanted to work with you too. You were one of the few artists that made me genuinely laugh. I always loved seeing you films on the front page and I absolutely loved your sense of humor. I don't think it could have happened to anyone nicer.
Rest In Peace.

I hope it's a joke.
Still too close to call, I'll wait with my fingers crossed.
Well now I'm sad. It feels like I knew him even though I didn't. This stinks.

Luis just reported it on Facebook and there's a tribute video to him on Eddsworld's Youtube page. I'm afraid this is real :(
It's a shame, I loved his stuff and it was quite obvious he still had a lot of creativity left in him...
It's always sad to see someone die this young, but it's always worse when that person has such potential...
Well, at least one of the last things that ever happened to him was him being selected for the yearly prize.

With Luis mentioning it on Facebook, that confirms it for me. I too have met him at a few meets and it really sucks to see him go like this.
i like the people saying it's a joke. this would literally be the most tasteless joke in the universe.

i'm crying :(
Yeah I wanted to make sure it was true before I got down....
Safe to say I'm down. :\
He's half the reason I call it WooleyWorld.
Well there goes one of the finer animators.
It's a Wooley World, but someones got to shave it...
I didn't really know him, but it is sad to see how one person dying can affect so many people emotionally.
My opinions are so useless, I don't even listen to them.
Goddammit, Edd's animations were awesome... Truly we have lost another amazing member of the community today...
