While the majority of people now work digitally, and so traditional electroacoustic music using tape and real oscillators isnt practical. It is still an interesting to see how people now create this kind of music in their own ways?

Electroacoustic music has been used in media and even games for a long time. The first example being 'Forbidden Planet' but audio design in games such as Fable II used entirely electroacoustic styled transformations of vocals for every sound effect.

Does anyone here have experience doing such things? It would great to hear about the techniques they found or their favourite examples of it.

I don't really know the range of taste on here to i could be wasting people's time with this post :P

I used to cut tape when i was 15 for my buddy's studio. He did that for the band specifically on their tastes. It came out with better sound quality, but they were all using dry acoustic instruments, no synths of any kind.
