Hi, i'm new here, and i'd like to ask some questions
1: is yellow the color of a moderators username?
2: can you add other users to your friend list? if you can, how do you do it?
3: where can i find more flash sources from where other people uploaded them? (not just the flash perloaders)
4: what does it mean when somebody's username is darker?

Aura is yellow.

I'm not sure you can do that but you can favorite artists.

Their aura is yellow and their name in the online users list is also yellow.
2: can you add other users to your friend list? if you can, how do you do it?
Not exactly, but there are favorite artists, and you can add people to your contacts here, but it's pretty useless.

There isn't a friend system on Newgrounds, so you can't. See the post before yours if you want to add someone to your contact list, though.
Also, here's a tip: any text that you want to always be at the bottom of your posts can be used as your forum signature. You can also add an image, if you wish.
